קהל זכרון משה שאמלויא
A Chassidish shul and beis medrash in Spring Valley, New York, open for tefillah and Torah learning from morning until late at night, and now building a new home with a mikvah for a growing community.
Under the leadership of Rabbi Yoel Meisels
About the shul
Zichron Moshe Shimloy is a Chassidish shul serving families in Spring Valley and the surrounding Monsey community.
The doors are open all day. Men come between work and family to learn a blatt Gemara, say Tehillim, or sit with a chavrusa over a cup of coffee, and the shul fills again every evening for Mincha and Maariv. On Shabbos the kehilla gathers for kiddush, shalosh seudos and melave malka, keeping the warmth and the minhagim of a Chassidish shtiebel alive for the next generation.
The shul is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Every gift goes toward keeping the beis medrash open and building for the future.

What the shul provides
Everything a Chassidish family needs from its shul, under one roof.
Minyanim every day of the year.
A warm beis medrash where anyone can sit and learn at any hour.
The heart of the week for the whole kehilla.
A home for the community's simchas and a place to turn to in times of need.
The new building
West Central, in the heart of Monsey, is growing fast, with new housing for hundreds of young families blessed with children.
The shul is building a new, spacious Beis Medrash for them: a large heichal for tefillah and learning, a heichal haTorah with an ezras noshim, and a mikvah built with every hiddur according to the mesorah of our Rebbes. The building will also house a simchas hall, so families can celebrate their simchas close to home.
The project has received the approval of the New York State Attorney General and its building permits.
Heichal haTorah, a bright learning hall lined with seforim, and the ezras noshim
The main heichal of the beis medrash with the aron kodesh, coffee room, otzar haseforim, a room for tefillah, and the Rov's study
The mikvah mehudar, the simchas hall, netilas yadayim and a dining room

At the heart of the project
״אשריכם ישראל, לפני מי אתם מטהרים ומי מטהר אתכם, אביכם שבשמים״
For Chassidim, going to the mikvah is part of daily avodas Hashem, before davening and before Shabbos and Yom Tov.
The new mikvah will be built with every hiddur according to the mesorah of our Rebbes, with two borei tevilah and four borei mei geshamim, in a clean, bright, dignified space, so that every man in the kehilla can toivel close to home, at any hour.
